Apple iPhone SE, 9.7-inch iPad Pro officially launched in India
Apple's latest iPhone and iPad --iPhoneSE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro-- have officially launched in the country. The iPhone SE and the new iPad Pro are available through the company's online and offline retail partners in the country.

iPhone SE 32GB and 64GB: Rs 39,000 and Rs 49,000
iPad Pro 32 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB: Rs 49,000, Rs 61,900 and Rs 73,900

iPhone SE is available in India in two variants -- 32GB and 64GB, while the former is priced at Rs 39,000, the latter is available at Rs 49,000.

The smaller iPad Pro tablet is available in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB variants. The tablet is available in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi+cellular models. The Wi-Fi only 32GB model of the new iPad Pro is priced at Rs 49,900, the 128GB model at Rs 61,900 and the 256GB model at Rs 73,900.

Apple iPhone SE comes with 4-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display with a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels. It is powered by Apple A9 chipset with M9 motion co-processor. Other specifications of the device are 12MP rear camera, 1,2MP front camera and Touch ID. It runs the updated iOS 9.3 operating system. It will be available in Silver, Gray, Gold, Rose Gold colours. The smartphone will be available in the country in April.

The company's all-new iPad Pro sports a9.7-inch display with a resolution of 2048x1536p and pixel density of 264ppi and is 25% brighter than the screen ofiPad Air 2. The latest iPad features a new True Tone technology that tracks brightness and ambient light temperature to make the screen more eye-friendly under varying lighting condition.

India launch of the devicesis part of the second wave of the iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro launch. In the first wave, Apple's new devices were launchedin 13 countries (on March 24) including US, UK, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and Singapore.

Other than India, iPhone SE and iPad Pro have launched in another 47 countries. These include Albania, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Cayman Islands, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Greenland, Guam, Guatemala, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Macau, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey and UAE.

Apple's distributors for the new devicesin the country include Beetel Teletech Limited and Redington India.
