OnePlus 3T in Midnight Black now on sale in India
OnePlus 3T 64GB: Rs 29,999
OnePlus 3T 128GB: Rs 34,999
The Midnight Black version of the OnePlus 3T
is finally up for grabs in India. The handset was up on pre-order last
week, which meant that you could reserve a unit for yourself for when
the big day arrives, which is today. The OnePlus 3T in Midnight Black has gone up for sale starting 2PM on
amazon.in
,
OnePlusStore.in
as well as the OnePlus Experience Store in Bengaluru. So if you happen
to live in the city, you can walk down to the store and check out the
handset before you make up your mind.
It’s important to note that OnePlus is not charging a premium for this
particular model and you will be shelling out the same amount as the
regular 128GB variant of the handset. The company has mentioned that it
has been working on this model for quite some time, but couldn’t get it
ready in time for the initial launch of the smartphone.
OnePlus recently launched the Black Colette version of the OnePlus 3T,
which was truly limited as only 250 units were produced and sold
globally. It will be interesting to see if the Midnight Black version is
somewhat similar, but considering that the company has taken pre-orders
for the device, one would hope that more than 250 units will be up for
grabs. But we are mindful of the fact that OnePlus calls this the
limited edition variant, so one can never know when it might go out of
stock.

Xiaomi’s decision to become an offline retailer could seriously hurt the competition
Xiaomi
announced that it wants to push 50% of its sales to offline channels
i.e. brick and mortar stores or physical retail outlets. While this has
been talked about for quite some time now, it seems like Xiaomi is
finally set to take the big step in a few months. This is a big move by
the company in a market where e-commerce sales
are everything. Companies take the online route to save marketing costs
and other charges that arise while displaying their products in a
store.

Does the Oppo F3 Plus make sense for Rs 30,990
Oppo F3: Rs 30,990
The Oppo F3 Plus has finally been unveiled for the Indian markets with a price tag of Rs 30,990. However, when we consider the kind of hardware it’s packing underneath, the device might not make a lot of sense. Sure, it has a 16MP + 8MP front facing camera with impressive selfie credentials, but does it actually hold up to its estimated price tag of just under Rs 31,000. The short answer is no, and here’s why.
