Samsung Galaxy Note 6 rumours

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 rumours
Samsung's next Note phablet -that could be named the Galaxy Note 6 - is in news again, this time giving a more clearer picture of what could be in store vis-à-vis internal hardware. Rumour has it that the alleged Note 6 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 823 processor coupled with a whopping 8 gigsof RAM.

According to SamMobile- that cites a report coming in from China -- the Note 6 will have a 64-bit Kryo 2.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor withAdreno 530 GPU and 8GB of RAM.

Further, the phablet is said to sport a 25-megapixel camera on the rear with Spectra 14-bit dual-ISP. We have little or no idea about the Snapdragon 823 right now,but it is being said to be probably a higher clocked variant of the Snapdragon 820.

The new report negates previous rumours that the Note 6 will have 6GB RAM. That said the word about the processor is certainly new, as also the camera spec.

Previously, it was said that Samsung may launch the Note 6 as early as July this year. Moreover, the Note 6 was alsosaid to come with Android N (based TouchWiz UI) out-of-the-box. The phablet is also said to have a 5.8-inch display and IP68 water resistance.

The Note 6's existence is yet to be confirmed by the company, so we suggest you take this piece of information with a grain of salt.Samsung only just launched the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Both the phones come with Snapdragon 820 and 4GB RAM. Both the phones also support expandable storage and water proofing capability.

The current generation Note 5 features an all metal and glass design and includes the trademark S Pen stylus. The phone comes with a 5.7-inch QHD display and is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7420 processor. It sports a 16-megapixel camera on the rear with Optical Image Stabilisation, autofocus and LED flash. There's also a front-facing 5-megapxiel camera.
